    • By bridging education and industry, the program strengthens local economies and empowers students with sustainable career options.

  • As much as we’d love to offer scholarships to all, we prioritize funding participants who uphold our core values and show a strong commitment to the program. The scholarship review board is tasked with the responsibility of being good stewards of the resources entrusted to us. Please see Scholarship Form for more details.

  • The hours you work will be calculated based on the school district requirements for course credit and the internship chosen.

  • This internship opportunity can fulfill:

    1. Work-Based Learning (WBL) Credit

    • Many Oklahoma schools offer Work-Based Learning (WBL) or Career Internship programs, allowing students to earn credit by participating in an approved internship related to a career pathway.

    • A dealership internship could count under Automotive Technology, Business Management, or Sales & Marketing pathways.

    2. Career and Technical Education (CTE) Credit

    • If the student is enrolled in a CareerTech program (such as Automotive Service, Business, or Sales & Marketing), the internship could count toward CTE course requirements.

    • Schools often partner with Oklahoma CareerTech Centers to offer industry-aligned internship credits.

    3. Elective Credit

    • Many schools allow internships or job shadowing experiences to count as elective credit, particularly under programs like Career Exploration or Internship-Based Learning.

    4. Senior Capstone or Graduation Requirement

    • Some high schools require students to complete a senior project or work-based experience as part of their graduation requirement.

    • A dealership internship could fulfill this requirement if it aligns with the student's career goals.

    5. Community Service or Leadership Credit

    • If the internship involves community engagement (e.g., participating in outreach programs, working with customers, or assisting in training workshops), it may count toward leadership or service-learning hours.
